Michael Alley was born and raised in Nashville TN, where he began photographing and working as a creative director for various musicians in his teenage years, precociously developing his craft in a rapidly booming hometown. After studying at Watkins College of Art, he moved on to receive a BFA in Photography at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. In the years since his relocation to New York City, his work has been praised, shown, and published by internationally-recognized magazines, newspapers, blogs, and local galleries. Drawn to themes of abstraction, technology, architecture and public spaces, he continues into tomorrow.
